There are three claims, and they do not say the same thing. I am keeping them in separate rows.

How to read the table
The Temple of Light and its Chamber of Sages are part of the shipped 1998 story, and Rauru gives Link the Light Medallion without a playable Light Temple boss. ScreenRant discusses cut-dungeon theories; that interpretation is not a playable dungeon location or a new Nintendo announcement. That explains a story bump. It does not prove the 2026 game restored the dungeon.
Before launch, CBR wrote up a leak and a theory. Theories are labeled as theories. After 5 Nov 2026, the dungeon-order guide I could check lists Deku Tree through Spirit Temple and Ganon's Castle, and it does not insert a Light Temple. One guide can miss a secret. Until a second post-launch source maps a playable Light Temple, the status on this page stays unconfirmed.
Sheik remains a disguise in the shipped story, covered on the Sheik page. A leak that promised a playable Sheik is not a move list.
Questions
Should I look for a Light Temple after the Forest Temple?
Not based on the post-launch order list. The medallion still comes from Rauru in the reports that match the 1998 story.
Was the leak confirmed?
No launch guide I checked added the dungeon. The leak stays a pre-release claim.
