Switch 2 remake

Release day was 5 Nov 2026, and the game is a Switch 2 exclusive. Development is credited to Nintendo EPD, with HokWai Ng directing and Eiji Aonuma and Fujibayashi as producers, per the Wikipedia summary of the credits. Master Quest is not in the box. A new Hall of Fallen Foes records enemies and lets you rematch bosses on a timer. Cutscenes are fully voiced. Link does not speak full dialogue. Castle Town is a full 3D space, the quest log is called Threads of Time, and the console microphone can turn humming into an ocarina song.

OpenCritic currently shows a 95 top-critic average and 100 percent recommendation. The fetched summary does not establish a current review count, so that count is omitted. Metacritic's 96 from 84 reviews is the figure Wikipedia repeats; the Metacritic page itself returned a block when I checked, so I am not treating a live scrape as a second meter. File size is a split: IGN says 24.5 GB and TweakTown says 27 GB. Both stay.
