Plan the age-specific routes

Plant Magic Beans during the child era before returning to the graveyard, Lake Hylia, Death Mountain Crater or Desert Colossus as an adult. Keep the child-only minigames separate from the adult routes. The frogs award two different pieces: one for Song of Storms and another for their insect-catching challenge. Dampé also has two separate rewards, the child digging game and the adult timed race.

Thirty-six pieces give nine Heart Containers. Together with three starting hearts and eight dungeon-boss containers, the original maximum is twenty hearts. The House of Skulltula reward at fifty tokens belongs on both collection checklists; it is one Piece of Heart, not an extra container.
